hi,
i`ve just started to work with cubase, which i like very much, but as yet i`ve done nothing on it,that i can`t doo better on fruity loops,i find for all the things i do,the top....mixing effects, step sequencer, vst, and so on,...the fruity loops 8 xxl is complete, and there is a sampler in it,although,up and till now ,i haven`t used it...

Yeah I think most people using Cubase would tend to use a sampler vst (like Battery/Kontakt), and chop up their sampled material into chunks using something like Recycle. Out of Recycle, you can export a REX file, which is effectively all your slices ready to go... then when you import that REX file into your sampler vst, you should have access to each slice assigned to a different pad/keyboard note, which you can use as you wish - within your Cubase track.

all right switched over to recycle thanks for that .. now when i go to move my chops to different spots on battery grid it changes the pitch low or high .. im just gunna keep messin around but if someone knows about this that would be great .. thanks again

and also if i don't want it to overlap the samples or play the whole thing i change the voices to 0 .. but then you can't press 2 buttons at the same time .. is there anyway around that ? .. just play the sample for as long as you hold it down and be able to press 2 or more pads at the same time ... thanks
