MPD32 & Albeton Live 7

Hi

I have just bought an mpd32 mainly for dj reasons with sereto but am interested in getting it up and running with albeton.

I know the mpd32 works via midi as serato responds and works correctly, however when i run ableton and enter midi map mode, when i press a button on the mpd32 nothing "maps". However i know ableton is receiving some kind of signal because there is a little yellow button that flashes int he top left hand corner of the screen in ableton. I've checked the manuals but these don't seem to help me much.

Anyone else had a similar issue, i am a real noob when it comes to production software and midi as you can probably tell

hmm manage to sort that one out after abit of random pressing of buttons

anyone know if its possible to map to 2 programs at once with the mpd 32, ie serato and albeton??

Hey marky1984...

I'm having the same exact problem with Ableton Live 7 and my MPD32...I can't get anything to map. Ex. I can't use/assign anything to Control Bank B or C for my knobs or faders...

How did you fix it?
