Music Upload Listing Order

Hey Matt, I was just sitting here wishing we could arrange our individual song lists... Like when you click on "listen to recent audio uploads" for my username, Amittai, is there a way I could put that list of my songs in the order I want them to be in without deleting and reuploading all of them in that order?

Why? So when new users or non-maketunes friends of mine follow a link to maketunes and click on "listen to recent audio files" from my profile they will be presented with the songs I'd want them to listen to first. I, for one, have uploaded a lot of old songs with lower quality and I'd like to move them to the bottom of my list... And the better ones (that I may have uploaded a long time ago) to the top.

Hey Amittai, yeah I hear ya... that would probably be one of the more popular modifications I could make to the site huh...

I'll add it to my list of things to investigate. I don't know how possible it is for me to do, but I'll check it out...

Hey, maybe add an additional link next to the "listen to ...'s recent audio files." You could leave that one in chronological order and add a link next to it for a playlist arranged by that user...?

Just an idea. No rush.

Yup thats what its looking like I'll have to go for. I'm testing a playlist thing today on a test site... I think thats the best bet... fingers crossed I can move it across to maketunes without anything melting down ;)

You're right though, it would be a major improvement in usability.
