Hi there,
anyone who likes to share some experience with online radios? Has some "air"play helped you promote your music?
Plus, do you know of any more places to find online radio stations (sorted by genre)?
I know of
www.live365.com
www.loudcity.com
www.shoutcast.com
Cheerz guys, rokk on...

Haven't checked out much online radio myself, as I already chew through my 20gb monthly ISP bandwidth limit as it is! *mutter mutter*
I was going to suggest those "music finding" sites as well, like pandora and finetune, but I checked and pandora is now US only, and finetune doesn't allow artists to submit their music - they only get their music from record labels and cdbaby etc...
www.pandora.com
www.finetune.com
There might be others out there though which do allow you to submit your own music? I imagine online services like that could be a lot bigger in future, helping people find artists similar to artists they already like etc...
this is a great topic.....ive had my dj mixes on www.stream.fm but ive never had my tracks aired....i geuss i could have put them in a mix and aired it...no one would have known....i looked at the sites and they seem to have all genres of music....have you actually had your songs aired on there?....im eager to hear more on this
seems i mispelled the website....its
http://www.stream-fm.com/
www.stream-fm.com is correct, yeah. Thank you Frank. It´s for anything "electronic" and related.
How about some "rock" oriented radios? :-)
I thought there must be more resources than just shoutcast, live365 and loudcity... ?
Just found
www.aiiradio.net
www.somafm.com
which seem to be quite okay, but if anyone could recommend another database would be cool...
