Forget all the laptop-with-a-midi-controller setups, because this IS the all-in-one solution for producers and DJs, not even including the other applications for audio-related tasks, period..
And you can connect to the Internet and surf the web on your keyboard? Downloading new VST instruments and programs/updates as they come out straight into the device cuts out a lot of extra work and speeds up the creative process..
There's even a program to copy any keyboard's sounds that you have already, so you can take that and manipulate those sounds further...
This machine is going to save a lot of new and current producers a LOT of money.. Seriously. I know this is the one thing I'm going to buy; cut out all the other nonsense for now.

I choked a liitle when I saw the price on the LX4 (Cuz honestly, it's the one you want) But then I factored in all that this is. Well, for starters, a laptop with a touchscreen with those specs running a custom version of xp is gonna run you at least 800, probably more like 1100. (one that's worth a damn... I know a little about this 'cuz I fix laptops for a living... all computer actually.) A MIDI controller of that quality would run you about 399 - 599. Then you got your pre-amp/mic input box. That 200... at least. So separately, you looking at 1400-1900 bucks to set this up on a desk. (and that's being cheap about it) But this is all-in-one! Making it... well... kinda portable. If I shit 4000 bucks I'm getting one of these. And to all my ATLiens, they got these down at the pro-tools place right off 85, Atlanta Pro Audio. If you live here and have gone down 85 to Atlanta, you've seen the damn sign! What a bad ass piece of hardware! Throw Reason 4.0 and Adobe Audition 3.0 on that bitch and I'd have a mobile studio. hmmm maybe I could put it in a sound proofed van and do recording like some people do dog grooming.
It'll do what it do till it done
You keep it pimp... I'm a keep it gangata!

Yea exactly, when you factor the stuff put into it, plus the excellent tech support when you have a problem(remote connection) through the ethernet port, and how reliable it is, then I believe this thing is almost priceless.
this is da shit, i gotta get one
Yup this ones On my wish list!
This is the MOOG of our generation!
