i use sony acid to edit my vocals and i wanted to make a phone call sound effect (like someone calling into a radio station) using the fx creator mixer fthing built into it, but i dont know what to do to make it phonecallish. if there is some other method besides sony acid, im open to suggestions

well all ur basically doing is a bandpass filter in the high freqs... so start there...

MarCoast got it right. just remove everything below 1khz. and crank up the highs. then run a highpass filter. I don't know how to do that in Acid, but in audition that would be done under the EQ and Filters tab in the FX column... It actually has a phone EQ preset in either the Parametric or the Graphic EQ process (The preset might be called AM radio) So if you have it as a wav, you could run it in audition like that then port it back into what ever you're using.
