I track my acoustic drums in my studio... been playing almost 40 years. I'm an internet collaboration specialist. I use Cubase SX and SE3, an M-Audio delta 1010LT sound card and a 12 ch board to traack anywhere from 4 to 8 separate mic's on my kit (depending on the sound required for the song.
I play pretty much all styles... except Big Band era Jazz... and death metal.
Curious???.. you can check out some of the material I've tracked at my myspace site... www.myspace.com/jwoo10
Contact me if you're interested... I'll fill you in on my specifics (as far as what I need to be able to track drums to YOUR songs)..

Very cool, drummers are often underestimated but always invaluable.

Where are you at jwoo?
I'm needing a drummer to lay down tracks for 5 songs actually. I listened to your songs and you defintely got the chops that could really make these songs shine. They are all recorded to a click. The style can be described I guess as progressive rock/metal/grunge. I added a drum loop and some midi cymbols to a few of them to hear what drums they might sound like with the guitar, bass, vocals tracks. You can listen to one of these 5 here on my music profile page. It's called "The Rage". If your interested let me know. This is just a Studio Project as of now. Myself on vocals and keys and a friend on guitars and bass. Were writing songs pertaining to our soldiers and for our soldiers and for a possibily of having one of our songs on a military record label's (http://www.tothefallenrecords.com/) compilation. I'm ex-usaf as I see you are as well. Rockin for the boys!
