I don't know why but I decided to try out cubase and compare it to sonar. I set up my sound card with the ins and outs under the vst connections and everything is working perfectly. My question is when I quit working on one project and begin another or when I close out cubase and open it back up, do I have to save the way I have the vst connections set up and when I start a new session go in the menu and open up my saved settings or is there a easier way where the settings will stay how I set them up?

Cubase users around able to help out poppntagz with this?
hmmm you shouldnt have to do that bro, usually when you open cubase it should automatically select your settings based on what your usual setup is, just make sure your soundcard is on and plugged in before launching the program, also maybe you didnt apply the changes in the vst connections window before closing it, hope that helps man
