how do you roll the drum sample? maybe i have the term wrong but i want to make like a "machine gun drum sound" but i have no clue how to do this with redrum. Is there a program on reason i could use to do this?

With redrum you can just select the drum you want to roll, and highlight each of the 16 boxes for it at the bottom... you can customize it from there to your taste:
-take some of the hits out
-make it longer than 16 hits or shorter
-use different velocities for different hits
-use the flam function (real good for snare rolls) by clicking the little light above one of the 16 boxes to activate the flam on that drum hit, and then adjust the flam knob on the right to change the timing of the flam
-automate certain parameters if you want the drum sound to change as the roll is in progress, such as raising/lowering pitch, bend, tone, eq/frequency cutoffs, pan, volume, anything...

Yeah... maybe that'll help. The basic rule with redrum is you have to make it hit for hit pretty much. If you don't like the sequencer it uses (the 16 boxes across the bottom and the pattern selector) you can draw it/record it straight into Reason's sequencer (at the bottom of Reason) instead of using the pattern selector in the actual redrum rack...

Good luck!
