I have my midi controller(s) and reason set up wiht an m audio fasttrack pro, and a turntable for sampling. i have ableton live lite 6. Is it possible to sample into ableton, then export it , to my desktop, then into reason. In my head it works , but i mine aswell ask the experts..im not to knowledable with ableton ..Or should i get cubase or another software???

You can sample with your set up a couple of ways.........First you could record your turntable as a wave file into your computer then use the NN-19 sampler in reason(it plays wave files). Second way would be to get RECYCLE . It is a program that is loopbased and helps sync your samples with your music. Most importantly though it turns those .wav samples into the magic REX FILE, which the DR.LOOP player uses in reason. Hope this helps.

thats whta i figured i just didnt know if you could record it as a wave file in ableton then export it...or i needed another software.
Yes you can, but the audio quality is just not there. I have a free program called AUDACITY which is specifically for this type of sampling(analouge to digital). The neat thing is you can use it to record vocals or whatever you need. Very useful. Try googling it.
