Setting up Akai MPD 24 with Reason 4

i recently got reason 4.0 and i dont kno how to setup my mpd24 with it. It works perfectly with my sonar 6. Reason looks a lil confusing. I wen to preferences to add it but it doesnt come up. Can someone help me with this problem. Also i got a couple refills and i dont know how to open them or use them. What are the basics for using reason after i kno that i could probably figure out the rest.

well make sure the preset is set to reason on the mpd 24...check the preferences to make sure your sound card is selected....as for setting up the mme controls i have no idea...with the refills, you just load them into the corresponding thing in your rack ( ie, nn xt, nn19, dr rex..)
