If you find that you can have a mp3 from one song track pack that you can work with another...feel free. The idea is creation. Make it happen!

Dude check out all three of them. There are all kinds of easy to use stuff in there and I found lots of choices. The beats and basslines are just great and I am throwing one on here that doesn't count but I like your judging idea. If not every contestant judges within the 3 day time span they cannot judge. Adam when you read this comment about Frank's idea for judging tell me what you think bro.

and remixing the song itself would technically mean you are using all the tracks wouldnt it (more than 2)?

i dont see a problem with it if its like that.

i tried to pick songs that would fit everybody. redemption and failsafe were big on ninremixes.com.

Also the other winning choice is a entire track 100 percent copyright free. I mean it's not like you would even have to make it. Besides MB... I am still a firm believer that vox beautifies ANY track. Without vox alot of tracks lack. If you enter just try to get 1st place that way you can say, "Yes Bob! I would like a whole song for free! Thanks!" And with it would come a multitracked split up song and the whole version as well. Just like the competition challenge. Use what you want and throw the rest away. Do whatever you want with it because the instrumental would be yours. That is the best I can do because I am not nearly financially secure. I can only offer what I can. On top of that whatever sounds you use in your song is all you, and you should check out what Adam has created. You can slow many of the mp3's down and get that hip hop feel bro.

Here is my submission which doesn't count. I used the Barely Breathing multitrack and used the bass and beat mp3's entirely. I didn't chop them up. I also added a violinish type bass sound played like a choir sound to give the bass some beef. The rest of the sounds you hear in the track is all me. Enjoy!

LOL! DAMN! You guys can't see it but there is an old age effect to the whole thing.... cracks in the photo. Sonya did a great job at the photo. She now has a SLR camera and has left music and is waaay into the photography scene. I will actually be changing it soon. Thanks Cap!

Hey is there a limit to how many songs we can upload?

Plus I love the Idea of the individual voting, but I also like the panel judging I guess it depends on number of contestants!

this is the first time ive ever tried something like this... making a song starting with someone elses tracks... so im definitely a novice (really im a novice at making music in general, im 16), but i did my best. It sounds really muddy, but for me it kindof works. I hope you like it. please let me know what you think.

whoah can't believe i missed this contest! i've been logging on through the updates through my email and haven't had the time to check out what's new! i just listened to all the entries (including yours sole even though it doesn't "count" haha) and daaamn...there's some fire going on here! this open source stuff is really great, it really lets people show themselves through the tracks...great job to all y'all! (i'm going to post individual comments soon, i don't have the time right now sorry;p)

From 2nd through the 5th place I have stated my own judgement. Let me paste the winning package strategy from the intro here to recap what was offered.
