mmm. you know me... I'm sample savvy. But if I happen to come up with some original fire, I know where to post it. After hearing what maori did, I'm just gonna observe this one most likely. Lovin' all the competitions on here though!

The main line is a loop. Everything else is me (horns, bass, drums) I usually only use one or two loops then chop and slice them. Sometimes even changing the key. Always playing them out on my controller. To me, my loops are as much of an instrument as someone using a VSTi in FL 8. But, your contest, your rules, and I couldn't be more cool with that (well, I could use a blunt about now. I'm @ work)

But like i said, I've done all original stuff before, you just gotta catch me when I'm in super creative mode... (press up up down down left right left right b a select start to enter super creative mode) rare as that is, it exists. If I make something worthy of entering here you bet your ass it'll be posted.

lol... the contra code. damn right... You did good with that track man, I couldn't tell thsoe were samples. I'll revise the rules a little to be more sample freindly.... I can always use another blunt..

Yo I'm definitely in, I learned a lot from the last contest these guys give worked with everyone in the contest to help take their track to the next level and I'm looking forward to that! It's not easy but well worth it!

Yeah that would rock! No straight looping. If you gotta loop or sample, rework that shit to make it original, all your own. Cut it slice it pitchshift it reverse it... whatever, as long as its barely recognizable as the original loop. That's my thoughts. just a jump off point for you.

I will write to it though depending on how great it is. I have ta put that in there just in case . yo king dattoli, this is your competition, but music isnt objective... you may think A-Z's beat wasnt the best, but thats still ur opinion... i really liked maoribeat's beat too, but this competition IS about your style when ur choosing the winner... different people like totally different things, so i dont think u should be talking like you are the ultimate judge of what a good beat is. this was a good competition and i agree with alot of ur choices, but still you gotta respect those are ur choices, not everybodys

im not the only judge maximus , plus i just recorded a hook over that az beat . teddy already asked him if we could write over it. Plus teddy was the one that mastered the beat . hes a judge it would have been unfair to everyone if az won because of a beat teddy mastered . In a way az was the biggest winner teddy mastered 7 of his beats or so . took at least 4 hours on each beat . and were still makein a track over az beat. so maximus maybe if u would have went to az last 5 post u would have seen and his last he even said we were writein over it. az is a great beat maker and so was everyone else who particapated .

yo kingdatoli,i gave teddy to master 5 beats,he made a great job on 4 and the 5th ain't done yet,and i let him master it cause it is after all going to be on the $times$ cd,so i wanted him to master it as he wanted to,he did it like he prefered,and i said on every beat that i thank him and that he is a mastering king wich is true,he did trully a great job,anyway people think that my indian beat was better but anyway you choosed mariobeats,i'm cool with that,so keep bringin the fire and hope we gonn colaborate on some more tracks...
