Hi everyone, Great site you have got here. I have allways been into dance/electronica/trance music since i can remember and have allways dreamed of being a DJ/Producer myself one day. I have'nt been using Fruity Loops for that long but i know the basics, I get to a certain point where i dont know what to do next so i was wondering about using acapellas. I know how to put my mp3's into FL and then onto the playlist but dont know what to do from there. Is there any video tutorials out there or could you guys help me?
Thanks, Josh.

Hey joshua, welcome to maketunes - thanks for the props :)
Have you checked out such fl studio tutorial forum threads as this one?

I don't use flstudio myself, but I'm sure as soon as the other FLstudio gurus see your forum post here, they'll give you plenty of tips on this.
These fl studio tutorial sites might help you out as well?

Cheers for them pages mate. I should make my question more specific. I want to know how to get the acapella to go with the beat and not out of sync & any other good tips for me will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Josh.
Not using flstudio myself (or acapellas for that matter) I can't add too much more on that unfortunately, but I'm sure the others can help ya there. Plenty of guys here regularly mix acapellas into their own tracks, so should be able to suggest a few methods of syncing them...
alot of acapellas are pretty hard to work with because of many different aspects. most of the time when i run into problems its because the music was played live so the temp alters.
heres what i do and i hope it helps you. load up your accapella and start playing it then right click on tempo next to the record button and it will bring up a menu...then left click on tap. you'll see a picture of a faucet, just left click the faucet to the temp of the song and that will bring you close to the original songs tempo. then lay down hi hats and a snare and adjust your tempo a notch up or down till you get it right or close to being right. when i come to a point in the song where the beat might come out of sync, i change my snap from line to none and move that particular pattern around till the beat drops in just right...its a little bit of hard work to get a complete song done but thats the only way i know to do it. hope that helps u. and oh yeah welcome to maketunes homie.
yeah dude that seems hard glad im not a producer i dont understand anythin u said lol
Cheers for that criminal, i have tried it but im struggling. I have a Eminem accapella and im just trying to find the right stuff to go with it, where to put it and so on. Do you have to be naturally talented at this or can you learn?
I use the wave traveller to chop up my acapellaz, or you could just as well use the piano roll......
$Guap Getta$
bro all i can tell you is that doing remixes takes time and alot of trial and error. eventually you will get it down...just dont give up.
yo J-man, when you use wave traveller do you chop the pella up in beats, bars, what? im always down to try somethin different.
one
put the accapella mp3 in the lower partition of the playlist window (simply drag it there).then click the symbol that looks a bit like a knife...use it to chop the accapella to your needs!
