Aw gee, Micky...I heard some of the other stuff (more in the electronic genre) you've done and you can definitely DO IT, man...It's just that your opening thread was barely coherent and the Thrash track you put up SOUNDS like it was made in two hours. I just didn't hear a whole lotta bottom end on the guitars and bass and the drums need a bit more work. You should fool around a bit more with the EQ and compression....You gotta SLAM those compressors hard with the guitars and kick and snare to make metal, ya know? Just trying to be constructive. In all the time ive been on this site, ive never seen beef come up. i think this should end in all honesty, were all about keeping a good example guys, ive never seen master beats get mad in all the time ive been here, why dont you just upload some tunes and become apart of the comunity dude (mortalengines) it would probebly be easier that way. were all about music, not about whos better than who. this is a great site and i would hate to see it become a site with forums full of shit talk.

Heres another one for you. I dont use fl for rock songs but I did use reason with this one.. Along with my guitar,bass and drums. seeing as reason and fl were made for the same purpose I think this is elidgable... Step your game up. I will leave you for dead in the path of my construction.

Let me reitinerate what maketunes is all about. Maketunes.com is a site for the 'little people'. The people who do music production is a HOME RECORDING STUDIO. IF a person comes here with false hopes of anything else other than a place to share ideas and sounds musically then THEY need to hang it up. I am not impressed with big heads. There are 62 guests right now. I have seen that in the upper 200's. Curreent visitors go and others come in. That is the way it works. That is why our songs are downloaded thousands of times. I enjoy that and ALL music is alive. Nothing is dead and only closed mindedness is the enemy. Proclaim yourself, but do not glorify yourself to diety status. It is discomforting to say the least.

Oh sole about the thousands of downloads... You remember matt changing the songs downloads from being downloaded by everybody to just members cause internet bots where downloading the songs all day? I found out why the songs got downloaded so much. one day I typed my name in yahoo and did a search. I noticed some websites I never heard of with my name and song titles of old songs I put up for download here. They turned out to be ringtone selling websites.. thats why the songs where getting download way more times than actually listened to. So in all reality those downloads dont count for anything cause they werent downloaded by people just computers. the fact that they are on sale is somewhat alarming though.

Theres no real way to prove or disprove what Im trying to say. But that websites real. Neither of us know who or what downloaded the songs. but I have noticed yours and alot of other members (mine too) song downloads have decreased quite a bit on whats been uploaded the past couple months compared to older songs before matt changed that.

I have put songs on and since the tracks weren't getting downloaded removed the option for downloading them. The funny thing is that I don't try to promote my music. I pretty much only put my music exclusively on maketunes. I just enjoy making music. The business side of things I really really really suck at. Also promoting myself. The thing is that I wont stop. I will make music until I die and my music WILL live on. That in itself is payment. That is why I am not big about bashers and big heads. Because I am the opposite. I encourage everyone to make what they like, regardless of the genre or style.

True bro. Very true. I wanna make money with my music and ultimately be doing it fulltime. I feel that I would jump at the chance if a record label knocked on my door and I would quit my job and give it 150 percent toward the music. It is a helluva lot more fun then working. The problem is I don't have any(seriously) energy desirement to post my music all over the internet and compete against people that already have a huge fan base and having the fans judge in their favor over my music. Lots of times their music isn't even as good and it just tires me and wears me down. I think to myself "screw them, they don't know what they are missing" and lack the luster to go for it anyway. I really need a godang agent to hook me up with live gigs, because I can sing LIVE no problem, and it is as easy as drinking water for me. But I lack the business desire... yet still have the creation desire. I don't know what the F is wrong with me.

I also have a friend that lives near me that gets some money from time to time from there... the exposure can't hurt either. Since I have so many songs I probably wont make cds out of all my songs... but rather throw a couple of great albums together picking and choosing. its possible. Theres probably alot of unknown names making good music throughout the genres. I like alot of different kinds of music but I cant stand listening to most jazz, country or death metal (Thrash is pretty bad too). Im not saying those musicians dont have talent, I just dont like the music
