It's totally usable... sure, it's not as featurerich or polished as the big industry standard programs, but it's a pretty good deal in my opinion!

Yes it does work great for bigginer recording, but you can deffinatly use this piece of software if you are recording live or touching up samols ,loops or tracks and ect.It's worth the download for such a small program.

I used this when I first started recording songs about 5 years ago. It works perfectly fine for the basics, (i.e. recording and syncing) just dont expect a great mix to come out of it unless of course they added vst plugin compatability. Havent used it in forever so I wouldn't know.
