my studio

this is my little home set up. mpd 24,m audio fast track pro,m audio bx5 monitors,m audio keyrig......yeah m audio is pretty good,lol. With reason 4,cubase,fl studio 7, plus i gota numark tt-usb table with audacity for sampling. I pretty much put this together when my jaw was wired shut just before 2008.

Sweet dude, straight forward and very usable. I want to setup that tiered system on my desk. I have a giant 19 CRT monitor, no room, and have to juggle everything around to get keyboard/mpd etc in arms reach. That tiered desk thing is the answer for me I think...

my set up is very simple and straight forward at the moment...i am pretty new to everything....i eventually wanto get double monitors goin...after i get my studio mic......thanks for the love maketunes

Yeah dual-LCDs would be sweet alright. Audio apps always need screen real estate by the bucketload

I don't know man, I mean don't get me wrong, it looks real great but anything you put on that top shelf is just going to slide off and make a big mess! Like a cup of tea or coffee is going to ruin your keyboards man!

yeah...i dont allow beverages on/near the GEAR....studio policy ya know....thier is a couple nice spots for drinks just beside the monitors....its all very sturdy....

LOL! Good point Stew! Again great setup you got there, wish mine was half as good. I would be too embarrassed to upload my own studio photo's, just too untidy! If there was a before and after comparison, mine would be the 'before' photo every time. There'd be no point doing an 'after' photo unless they wanted to show how much my studio had deteriorated in such a short time lol.

I don't want to give to impression that I've got empty crisp packets and beer cans all over the place, no I'm not dirty just unorganised and my studio looks very cluttered with CDR's DVDR's rechargeable batteries and loads of cables including all my musical instruments and other various electronic gear ;)

yeah..the only reason mine is neat and tidy is because its new....give me like a year and we will see how clean it is...lol....

damn stew if i had AT LEAST the keyboard and your speakers, i'd be making at least 10 beats a day lol...

but i know u loving the rewire from reason to fl... i know when i got fl, reason became nothing more than another synth/instrument to me! and seeing how the malstrom is my favorite synth, im having plenty of fun...

as a matter of fact, can anyone tell me a similar synth to reason's malstrom?
