C.F. Martin & Company make some pretty fancy acoustic guitars, many of which command a price which reflects their quality of build, and of sound. If you ever wondered what process they use to craft such award winning musical instruments, it's your lucky day!

The following is a step by step guide following the construction of a Martin acoustic guitar, from the X-shaped internal bracing on the spruce sheets, to the steel strengthened mahogany guitar neck, and so on... it's quite an interesting process.

An ideal cheap acoustic guitar for someone wanting a good quality brand, and something a lot better than the cheap Walmart type acoustic guitars, is the Washburn D10S Solid Top.

Its a solid performer from a highly reputable acoustic guitar brand, at a very reasonable price. From what I've heard it's one of the better sounding cheap acoustic guitars.
