Musical Background

I learnt the piano at the age of 5 and started singing lessons at 6. I used to enter into many music festivals when at school and at the age of 13 went to a stage school in England as it was my dream to be in musicals. I started composing when I was 10, mainly songs. I have exams in GCSE and A'level music and moved to Spain at 18.
It was very difficult to continue with music while there but I was in a girl band for a while but what they made me sing made my skin crawl (europop trash......awful!!). They offered me a contract which I turned down. After this I participated in an album called 'Project Pi' which a friend of mine, who goes under the name of Al West, created.
Until this day it remains one of my favourite albums. His compositions are made which such finesse and beauty that it soothes my soul completely. It is available for download, if you would like to listen, from iTunes.
It is because of Al West that I started using music programs.
While in Spain I was introduced to nightclubs and house music and with my partner a dj, it was easy to fall into creating dance music.
I love to make music that I would dance to. Something that makes me want to stand up and get out there on the dance floor!
