Musical Background

Born in Norfolk VA, in Hyde Park and OV. I grew up around alot of crazy shit, I remember every day waking up to gun shots and trying to sleep hearing gun shots. When I was around 12 me and a few of my friends started to get rapped up in the area we grew up in that bred carelessness and hate. Crack heads and gangs were all over the place and getting robbed or our ass's kicked by several people became a normal thing. Bloods and Crips were and still are all over the place in Norfolk, there were sections of Norfolk that cops woulden't even go. So we grouped up and started defending ourselves, and making beats and writing lyrics to avoid getting mixed up in the crime and getting locked up. We called ourselves HP Boyz, we mainly just wrote music for ourselves. Around 15-16 several people I grew up with were locked up for theft, drugs, or murder. Only ones that were not locked up were me and my bro Shawn. When we went to school there would be 5-6 cop cars out front of our school to break up gang fights. We couldn't stand going to school because of the simple fact that every time we were there people would test you and you would end up getting suspended or getting jumped. Hell the principle got attacked by students and the female teachers were sexually herassed everyday. So we skipped alot of school and basically chilled at the crib writing music and trying to make money. We were all poor as hell, pretty much if you lived in norfolk you were poor and if you lived in Virginia Beach you had money. VA also has a very large naval base and between that and alot of drug dealers ended up in alot of prostitutes. Anyways so we used music as an escape, and we loved it. Most of us haven't seen each other in a long time. Anyways I recently moved to AL to get to know my mother and her side of the family, So far is peaceful but boring as hell lol. Really I think my past has helped my music alot and really shows thru in my lyrics which is why I put this bit in here.

Musical Goals

To produce music that I enjoy and other people can enjoy to, that also can make them think about what the hell is going on around them.
